Required Final Pitch — OPTIONAL
NOT REQUIRED FOR NORMAL BORE PLANNING
Only enable this if the drill MUST finish within a specific pitch range.
If no final pitch is required, leave this OFF.
Setting this unnecessarily can make an otherwise valid bore impossible to solve.
Add optional depth targets the plan must hit along the shot.
Add utility crossings below. Enter the utility name, outside diameter, reference elevation, and whether that reference is the top, center, or bottom. BoreWise will auto-calculate top and bottom of utility for clearance checks.
Please acknowledge before generating a plan:
Vertical scale adjusted for visibility.
Add job photos, utility strike photos, 811 ticket information, and notes for this bore.
Upload general jobsite, setup, pothole, locate, entry, exit, or progress photos.
Job Name, Job Date, and Location are required before adding photos.
Use this section if a utility was hit or damaged.
No utility strike photos added yet.
No general photos added yet.
Upload permits, plan sheets, locate tickets, utility maps, BoreWise exports, and other job paperwork for this bore.
Add PDFs, images, plan sheets, tickets, permits, maps, or other job documents.
Job Name, Job Date, and Location are required before uploading files.
Uploaded job files will appear here with category, notes, uploader, and date.

Enter all depth readings and elevations in decimal feet to the nearest hundredth when possible.
To convert feet and inches to decimal feet, convert the full measurement to inches, then divide by 12.
Example: 4 ft 3 in = 51 in.
51 ÷ 12 = 4.25 ft
Do not enter measurements as 4'3".
When using elevations, enter the full elevation in decimal feet, such as 743.56.
When using a grade stick, transit, or laser, enter the reading in decimal feet to the nearest hundredth when possible.
For entry depth, measure at the exact point where the drill head first touches the ground.

Exit depth is the planned centerline depth of the bore at the end of the shot.
If you are measuring the top of the ground and need additional cover, add that cover to the measured depth.
Example: if the ground reading is 11.50 ft and you need 42 in of cover:
42 ÷ 12 = 3.50 ft
11.50 + 3.50 = 15.00 ft exit depth
